TO DOUBT OR NOT TO DOUBT
Marty Sampson “I’m Genuinely Losing My Faith: ” Hillsong Worship Leader Rejects Christian Beliefs.
Marty Sampson said, “Time for some real talk. I’m genuinely losing my faith, and it doesn’t bother me. Like, what bothers me now is nothing. I am so happy now, so at peace with the world. It’s crazy. How can God be love yet send four billion people to a place, all because they don’t believe? Christians can be the most judgmental people on the planet—they can also be some of the most beautiful and loving people. But it’s not for me. I am not in any more. I want genuine truth. Not the “I just believe it” kind of truth. Science keeps piercing the truth of every religion. ”
“Take the pressure off yourself. It is human to doubt. It began with Adam and Eve. But it isn’t a place you want to stay. There is nothing to fear from the truth. We’re not asked to believe fairy tales. ” --Pastor Steve

Where does doubt come from? Mind, will, emotions
Doubt is sometimes intellectually inspired, but not predominately. There are many sources of doubt. Often a doubt is masked by a smokescreen, covering the real issue. Let’s dig a little deeper and find out the facts of the matter, so the actual problem can be addressed.
CONCLUSION 1. Doubt is normal. 2. Truth should be embraced over feelings. 3. Good answers help overcome doubt. 4. Be honest about your doubt. 5. Find someone who will listen without judging you. 6. Don’t let doubt shut down your search for truth, no matter how long it takes.
