What is geography? • Geography comes from the Greek word ‘geographica’ which means ‘writing

What is geography? • Geography comes from the Greek word ‘geographica’ which means ‘writing the world’ • In physical geography we study the natural world • In human geography we study the man made world • Discuss your answers to the ‘Do now’ question as a class.
