It is a story about a boy named Adam Cisowski who attends seventh grade

It is a story about a boy named Adam Cisowski who attends seventh grade in primary school. He is endowed with a rarely met cleverness and perceptivity. Once he was asked by history teacher to help him solve a riddle which decided about the fait of his family and wealth. The teenager agrees to raise to the challenge and go to man’s home town. There he meets Mr. Gąsowski’s family members. He faces many different, unexpected and scary adventures in which he has to be extremely brave and resourceful.

§ Kornel Makuszynski – Kornel Makuszyński was a Polish writer of children's and youth literature. He was born in 1884 and died 1953. In his early years he lived in Lviv, later he moved to Warsaw. He started writing at the age of 14. His children's books, particularly the series about the goat, Koziołek Matołek, have an enduring popularity in Poland. He is one of most famous Polish writers, his works had been translated into many other languages.
