What is Title I ? • The Title I program is a federally funded program that allows our school to use Title I funds to pay for services and programs that are utilized by all students at our school.
Who benefits from Title I funding? • All students benefit from the use of Title I funds. • Title I funds help support extra instruction in reading and math, as well as after-school and summer programs to extend and reinforce regular school curriculum.
Examples of Services & Programs • Title I services and programs that can help improve your child’s education. – – – Tutorials ( Saturday School for STAAR preparation) Summer school (Grades 1 -4) Workshops for teachers & parents Technology Upgrades (PCs and laptops) Teaching Materials (Reading & Math) School Support Staff (Instructional Specialist for Interventions)
