Research Defense - General guidelines Maximum of 3 groups per day shall conduct their research defense Each group will only have a maximum of 15 minutes per presentation, which will comprise of: ◦ Preparation (2 minutes) ◦ Actual presentation (5 minutes) ◦ Question and answer (5 minutes) ◦ Grading of panel members (3 minutes) Attire: complete school uniform

Research Defense – Materials needed 1. Powerpoint presentation 2. Television or Projector, Laptop, Extension (use only 1 set for the whole section) 3. 3 copies of manuscript in folders 4. Properly filled-out defense evaluation tool 5. Snacks and pencils for panel members 6. Certificates for panel members and awardees

Research Defense – Criteria

Research Defense – Division of tasks Class officers and other representatives shall be assigned for the following tasks: ◦ Timekeeper Snacks and refreshment ◦ Host Technical needs ◦ Certificates Accommodation ◦ Documentation Cleanliness & Restoration ◦ Letter of invitation Usher/ Room Assistant ◦ Programme and report Overall Program Manager
