Step 1 E-mail arrives • Make a note of your allocated week • Contact sender only if you are on sabbatical during your allotted week – all other issues are covered on the form (annual/sickness leave, atypical weeks etc. ) Finance Directorate
Step 2 Allotted week arrives • Note down all your actual university activity • Cover every day/evening for that week (from Monday morning to Sunday midnight) • There are guidance notes located in the form to assist when you start to enter the data Finance Directorate
Step 3 End of allotted week • Enter TAS form via hyperlink http: //tas 1. manchester. ac. uk/ (note: this can be done at any time up to 4 weeks after your allotted week, closing date is indicated within login credentials) • Use login credentials provided at foot of all TAS emails (surname, user id & PIN) Finance Directorate
Step 4 End of allotted week (continued) • Insert data into appropriate categories in form (use actual no. of hours worked, split data across categories if appropriate) • Note section at beginning of form to record absence – use standard 7 hours per day here Finance Directorate
Step 5 Once all data entered into form: • Click ‘save’ or ‘save/submit’ • Click ‘back’ button to re-enter if saved before finished • Relax! That’s it for this year’s return Finance Directorate
