Early Life � Tim Berners-Lee was born on the 8 th of June 1955, in southwest London � His parents were Mary Lee-Woods and his father Conway Berners-Lee � His parents, like him, worked with computers. They worked on the first ever computer, the Ferranti Mark 1.
Invention � Tim Berners-Lee invented the world wide web. � The world wide web is very big and has roughly about 60, 000, 000 pages that's a very big number and it’s still growing!!!! � Tim Berners-Lee is campaigning for Free Internet and against spying on every single thing from private email to twitter posts and Social Media sites.
University �Tim Berners-Lee went to university from 1973 to 1976. He was very clever so he went to The Queens College of the University of Oxford, a very, very good University in England. He studied Physics and got a First Class Degree.

Fact File ☺ ☺ ☺ The web isn’t the Internet Berners-Lee’s net worth is £ 50 million He had the idea for the World Wide Web while he was working at CERN because he was getting annoyed at having to re-code everybody else's codes. He gave out the Internet for free even though he could have earned billions Tim Berners-Lee came to Galway in November 2010.

Effect of his Invention � The effect of the World Wide Web is huge. It allows us to talk to our friends, play games and generally surf the web � Without the world wide web there would be no Twitter, Facebook or Email. So we can safely say that his invention was extremely important to modern society � It also is a thing we use in day to day life. One example is I used it to do my project.
