Lab Activity-Water race Make your prediction of how long it will take you to move your water drop around the race track using a toothpick. n Race your water drop around the track and record the time. n Now dip the tip of the toothpick into the dish soap. n Race the water drop around with the toothpick that has soap on it. n

Lab Activity-Water Stretch n n n Make your prediction of how long your water drop will stretch Put a drop of water on the stretch activity page. Take turns “stretching” the water drop with just a toothpick. Document the actual length of the stretch.

Clean Up n n n Replace the wax paper with a new piece of wax paper. Tape the wax paper in place. Wipe up any spills on the lab station counter.
