Thomas Bayes & Bayes’ Theorem v Thomas Bayes (/ˈbeɪz/; 1701 – 1761) was an English statistician, philosopher and Presbyterian minister who is known for having formulated a specific case of theorem that bears his name: Bayes' theorem.
