This weeks ‘The Colour Monster’ inspired challenges are…

Challenge 1 • Marty turned yellow when he felt happy. What makes you feel happy? What makes your family feel happy? Complete an activity together that makes you feel happy!

Challenge 2 • Marty turns green when he feels calm. In nursery we sometimes do yoga to make us feel calm. Can you do some yoga at home? (Cosmic Kids Yoga is available on Youtube and has lots of yoga videos aimed at young children)

Challenge 3 • ‘Marty’ and ‘monster’ both begin with the ‘m’ sound. How many objects in your house can you find that begin with ‘m’?

Challenge 4 • ‘The Colour Monster talks about wanting to dance and jump when he feels happy Have a dance off with your family to all of your favourite songs. I cannot wait to see the videos!

Challenge 5 • At the end of the story Marty turned pink showing us that he felt loved. Who makes you feel loved? Who do you love? We may not have seen some of the people we love for a little while. Make cards or gifts to give to the people you love to show them that they are special to you.

If you complete 2 of our super challenges you will receive a bronze superstar certificate. If you complete 3 of our super challenges you will receive a silver superstar certificate. If you complete 4 of our super challenges you will receive a gold superstar certificate. If you complete 5 of our super challenges you will receive a rainbow superstar certificate.

We will be reading a new story next Friday accompanied by new super challenges for you to complete. Please upload these onto Tapestry so we can see what super learners you are being at home. We hope you have lots of fun completing these!
