Halloween has been celebrated since 100 A. D. and is currently celebrated internationally on October 31
The Celts believed that this world and that of spirits came with the arrival of the Samhain, which let spirits or ghosts pass into our world
Family ancestors were invited andhonored, while harmful spirits were estranged. That's why on Halloween people disguised themselves as monsters and horrible things, to scare
In 1840 this party arrived in the United States and Canada by Irish immigrants. It was they who created the habit of carving Jack into the pumpkins
Where is Halloween celebrated?
Halloween is celebrated in the United States, Canada, Ireland the United Kingdom.
It's a very important night for Americans and Canadians whose children take to the streets disguised as ghosts, goblins and demons, to ask their neighbors for sweets and treats.
In Spain and Latin America, this celebration is considered an American festival, but there are traditions and celebrations that same day with a closeness ato the world of the dead.
In the eighteenth century in Asturias the children ordered food at the doors of the houses during that night carrying lamps in their hands. In many municipalities of Castile the houses were decorated with pumpkins that were made holes inside to simulate a face, then a candle or light was introduced inside to invoke the good spirits and frighten people on that night of terror. In many Villages in Madrid people dressed in black and ringed the bell until the early hours. In addition, lights were brought to cemeteries to guide the dead and the graves of the deceased were cleaned.
What traditions are there on Halloween?
Apart from cutting pumpkin, walking with lanterns and ordering sweets around houses, there are some very typical meals on Halloween that are cooked in different regions for example: • Bones of saint • wind fritters. • Cakes of all kinds made with pumpkin • Candy apples • Sweet apples with peanuts

I like to do typical Halloween activities like the famous Trick or Treat and costume parties, in addition to bonfires, visiting haunted houses, pranks, reading scary stories and watching ver horror movies and eating lots of sucks of course
