THEORY OF EVOLUTION BY MATTHEW BELL CHARLES DARWIN
THEORY OF EVOLUTION BY MATTHEW BELL
CHARLES DARWIN, HIS LIFE Charles Darwin is the man who made theory of evolution and one of the most scientists known to man. His first came up with this idea when he was studding plants on the Galápagos Islands, but he noticed that all the finches he saw were different and that’s where he came up with his theory. Charles was born on the 12 th of February 1809 and sadly passed away on the 19 th of April 1882.
THE ORIGIN OF SPECIES The origin of species is a book written by Charles himself, it was a book all about evolution. His theory was about humans evolving from monkeys to who we are today. He released it in 1859 but he didn’t rush to publish it because he thought the public would think he's mad and could have been criticised by the catholic church because they were very powerful at that time.
DARWIN AND HIS FINCHES • This is what he calls natural selection. He was sailing on a boat collection info on the Galápagos Islands when he noticed something strange about the finches they had all adapted to their environments. This is also when he came up with theory of evolution. Some finches had smaller beaks so that meant they could eat seeds easier and some had big beaks which meant they could eat nuts.
