Theory of Colour. Light DKTE Colour theory of Light q Primary colour – There are 3 primary colours Red, Green and Blue. As per theory, you can generate any colour mixing these colours light. If you add all 3 primary colours in equal quantity we get colour white colour light. q Secondary colour – Adding any two primary colours in equal ratio get the secondary colour Red + Blue = Magenta Blue + Green = Cyan Red + Green = Yellow

Theory of Colour Wheel DKTE q Draw 5 concentric circle with radius of 1”, 1. 5”, 2. 5” and 3”. q Make 3 equal parts these concentric circles such that each subsequent ring divides the previous ring. q Fill the colour in rings of 120 degree as shown in the next diagram. q R = Red, Y = Yellow and B = Blue and number shows the parts of colour to mix to make a colour to fill into the ring. q Fill the first circle with colour prepared after mixing equal parts of Red, Yellow and Blue
