Definitions ¢ Employed population (ILO definition) 1. People that are at least 15 years of age; 2. People that have worked (even for a single hour) during the reference period even if self employed, or employed in a family business; 3. People that are employed but on temporary leave of absence (illness, maternity leave, training, etc. ); 4. Members of the armed forces, apprentices, paid interns, are part of the active population.
