The directions in the test booklet say: “Write a paragraph that describes what is happening in the picture. Include as many details as you can. Someone who reads your paragraph should be able to imagine the entire scene. ” The student is prompted to look at the picture and think about the people in the picture, where they are, what they are doing, and what they might be thinking or feeling.
