The Lord gives wisdom, All from his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.

Whoever believes in Christ, as Scriptures say, All ‘Rivers of living water will flow from within them.

If we remain in Christ and his words remain in us: All we can ask whatever we wish and it will be done for us.

Blessed be God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit: All Blessed be God for ever!

That this evening may be holy, good and peaceful, let us pray with one heart and mind.

All As our evening prayer rises before you, O God, so may your mercy come down upon us, to cleanse our hearts and set us free to sing your praise, now and for ever. Amen.

PSALM (Good News Version) Psalm 73 part 2

21 When my thoughts were bitter and my feelings were hurt, 22 I was as stupid as an animal; I did not understand you.

23 Yet I always stay close to you, and you hold me by the hand. 24 You guide me with your instruction and at the end you will receive me with honour.

25 What else do I have in heaven but you? Since I have you, what else could I want on earth? 26 My mind and my body may grow weak, but God is my strength; he is all I ever need.

27 Those who abandon you will certainly perish; you will destroy those who are unfaithful to you. 28 But as for me, how wonderful to be near God, to find protection with the Sovereign LORD and to proclaim all that he has done!

Glory to the Father, by the Son, in the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and shall be for ever. Amen. Or: Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and shall be for ever. Amen.

Holy God, may we find wisdom in your presence and set our hope not on uncertain riches but on the love that holds us to the end; in Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

How can someone stay on the path of salvation? All By living according to your Word. Every word of God is without any flaw: All he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. All God our Father, you have given us the Holy Scriptures to instruct us in the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. Now that we have been born again not with a perishable seed, but through your living and enduring Word, may it dwell richly in us every day of our life. Amen.
