The United States Government
How it all started The founding father, the authors of the constitution, wanted to create a government that was balanced. They didn’t want one person to have too much power, like the British King. They also wanted to avoid a weak government, like they had when they had the articles of confederation. So they created the government we have today. There are three separate branches, each one has its own job but they all work together to make sure that none of the branches are taking away the rights of the citizens.
