The United Arab Emirates Compared to the United
The United Arab Emirates Compared to the United States and the World Information for graphs is courtesy of https: //www. census. gov/popclock/world/ae
Looking at this graphic, the United Arab Emirates has a miniscule slice of the United States, and an even smaller slice of the world population. The USA population is 52. 112 times larger than the UAE. The world population is about 1226 times larger than the UAE's. *Correction*The current UAE population is 9. 27 M
According to this, the world as a whole is very densely populated compared to the US and UAE. This is likely due to the fact that the world is counting heavily populated locations such as cities in China, India, etc. .
This piece of information is not exactly all that surprising to me. In most Muslim majority nations, the women are typically treated as second-class citizens. Women are subject to the lower level of treatment compared to the men. A reason why this stat may be so flipped is that women choose to depart from the country for more opportunity.
I do not see much that stands out with this statistic. It is only showing that the UAE is just about average with the worldwide average of children per woman.
2030 Population: 7. 5 M 2040 Population: 8 M I think that this statistic is dead wrong. The United Arab Emirates is a fast growing, capitalistic society gaining popularity with every passing year. In 1990, the population was only at 1. 86 M but today, it has risen significantly in such a short time. The country is not showing many signs of slowing down in the population category. 2050 Population: 8 M
This bit of data is another good example of the fact that this nation is in its infancy stage. The fact that there are so little elder people could be due to the constant hot weather, and the influx of younger folks between the ages of 25 and 39 is another example of this country being ideal for young people and more catering to them.
Conclusion The information provided in the slideshow with a little bit of some background information about the United Arab Emirates would make it easier to understand the data. For starters, the country of the UAE was founded in the year 1971, and just nine years in 1980, the general population reached the big one million. The biggest population jump was from the years of 2004 to 2013. In '04, the population started at about four million, and in the nine year span, it rose by five million and settled at about nine million before the rapid increase slowed down significantly. While looking at the last graphic about the amount of men in each age group, it was learned that close to 30% of the entire population belongs to the 25 -39 year old, male age group. It is also worth noting that there is a miniscule sliver of men over the age of 60 live in the UAE. Like I previously noted, this nation is still in its infancy and growing in popularity with the younger crowd. Another factor could be the average August temperature lingering close to the 96 °F area. This likely discourages people of age from wanting to move into the country. However, the number may soon rise in 20 years when the majority of natives start hitting their elder years.
