A day in the life of the library � 8, 406 entered library buildings � 1, 941 items were checked out or renewed � 792 reference questions were answered; 139 answered virtually � 53 people received library instruction � 38 people participated in outreach activities � 595 new book volumes were acquired � 72 items were borrowed from other libraries for use by UCSD library users � 11, 696 Roger searches were made � 113, 475 hits were made to the library’s website
