Tudor Dance Dancing was an extremely popular for both the rich and poor people.

Tudor Dance Dancing was an extremely popular for both the rich and poor people. Tudor dances included the Galliard and the Pavane. The poor lower classes enjoyed country dances such as the Jig, Morris Dancing, the Brand or the Brawle. The rich Upper Classes enjoyed new types of music at court and these were taught by the Dancing Masters. The poor Tudors dancing revolved around country dancing. The dances of the poor would have been performed at fairs and festivals, many of which were dictated by the changing seasons and the calendar of Church events.

Who was Richard III? • The people of York and Lancaster had been fighting for the crown of England for over 100 years. • Richard of York became King of England in 1482. • It is said that Richard had his little nephews killed in the Tower of London.

Who was Henry VII? • Henry was the great-grandson of the Duke of Lancaster.

Who was Henry VII? • Henry was the great-grandson of the Duke of Lancaster. • He was banished to France as Richard feared he might try to take throne. • In 1485 Henry gathered some support in Englanded in Wales with his supporters.

The Battle • Richard gathered his 6, 000 supporters and marched towards Ambien Hill.
