The Statue Of Liberty The statue of liberty was constructed in Paris, France. It took nine years before it arrived in new York on June the 17 th 1885.
Statue of liberty • The Statue of Liberty National Monument officially celebrated her 100 th birthday on October 28, 1986. The people of France gave the Statue to the people of the United States over one hundred years ago in recognition of the friendship established during the American Revolution • . Over the years, the Statue of Liberty's symbolism has grown to include freedom and democracy as well as this international friendship.
Buckingham Palace • Buckingham Palace has served as the official London residence of Britain's sovereigns since 1837 and today is the administrative headquarters of the Monarch.

The Roman Colosseum • The Roman Colosseum is the most famous monument to have survived from the classical world. It was built nearly two thousand years ago for the purpose of hosting violent gladiator games. Thousands of men and animals fought for their lives.
