What did they do for us? • They loved Ancient Greek Education • They believed that the love of teachers and the values of parents are the most important things for every child • Their day is also dedicated to the Hellenic letters (since three hierarchs contributed to the development of Greek Christian education and Literature) • They were highly influential bishops of the early church who played pivotal roles in shaping Christian teachings • They believed strongly that all people were equal in the eyes of God

What does it mean for us? • They were key figures in the development and the spiritual growth of the church. • Many of the values and beliefs in the orthodox church come from these three men.
