3 Regions of the 13 Colonies n n n The New England Colonies included Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. New England was a ship building and whaling Region. The Middle Colonies included New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. The Southern Colonies included Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.
Jobs during Colonial Times Some of tools in Colonial Times were; Augers, gimlets, braces, chisels, gouges, compasses, calipers, drawknives, hammers, planes, saws, squares and bevels. The purpose of being a blacksmith is making tools to help the colonist get work done. The colonist worked long hours each day. Auger Carpenters
