1 The Target Gender for my film is. . . The target gender for serendipity is women. This is because the film is mainly a romance which is stereotypically projected towards females. One of the two main characters is a woman and she has a very confident inspiring aura. The main character also teaches the audience about what serendipity is, how it works, And shows that it can work in many ways.

2 The Target Age for my film is. . . The rated age to watch Serendipity is PG which I do not agree with. I think this because people from the age of 14 to bout 40 are romantically engaged and serendipity is mainly a romance film so they will connect more with the film at these ages.

3 The Target Lifestyle (Interests) AND Spending Power for my film is. . . - I think the people who watch this movie would be interested in other similar movies like the wedding date, the notebook, etc. The reason why I think this is because the genres and storylines are similar. - I Would believe the audiences who watch this film would be into artists such as Elvis, Michael Buble, Adele, etc. - Types of Television shows that this audience would like may be sit-coms such as Friends, Scrubs, Vampire Diaries and Pretty Little Liars.

Young and Rubicam I Think the audience for serendipity would be the explorer because the movie is based around chance and adventure so People like the explorer enjoy new challenges and discoveries so will enjoy this story.

5 I searched for a review on rotten tomatoes which is a reputable reviewing site. They gave serendipity 59% which leaves it in the green tomatoes rating which is a lower rating. SECONDARY research

These are mixed reviews from the rotten tomato site saying either that it is a typical rom-com or Saying that they like it more tan they should as they are an older male.

PRIMARY research I asked questions to find out how many people in my class have seen my film and why they liked or disliked it Ages of my audience sampled 15% 36% 12% 14 Y/o 15 Y/o 16 Y/o 37% 48 Y/o 85% of my audience are aged 14 -16 that I questioned, they would recommend the movie however I have rated the movie more at 23 as they would relate more to the film.

What my audience thought the Target audience was. 14% 12 14% 15 15 -25 20 -30 57% of my audience thinks that the target audience is 15 years/Teens which does not match my own opinion.

8 The Ideal Audience Now that you have done all of your research, who is the ideal audience member for your film? (Age, Gender, Lifestyle, Spending Power, Secondary and Primary Research) Having done my primary and secondary research I believe the ideal target audience for serendipity would be a 23 year old female who likes watching youtubers like zoella and listening to buble tracks and watching tv shows like friends.
