Sarajevo �The siege of Sarajevo (5 th April 1992 to 29 th February 1996) was the longest siege in modern history. �It was fought between the forces of the Bosnian government and Serbian paramilitaries. �An estimated 12, 000 people were killed another 50, 000 wounded during the siege.

Para 2: the different structures of the three poems. Para 3: the use of language in ‘Green Beret’ and ‘Suicide’ Para 4: the use of language in ‘Sarajevo’
