Matthew 26: 59– 62 [59] Now the chief priests and the whole council were seeking false testimony against Jesus that they might put him to death, [60] but they found none, though many false witnesses came forward. At last two came forward [61] and said, “This man said, ‘I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to rebuild it in three days. ’” [62] And the high priest stood up and said, “Have you no answer to make? What is it that these men testify against you? ” (ESV)

Matthew 27: 39– 40 [39] And those who passed by derided him, wagging their heads [40] and saying, “You who would destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, save yourself! If you are the Son of God, come down from the cross. ” (ESV)

Acts 6: 11– 15 [11] Then they secretly instigated men who said, “We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses and God. ” [12] And they stirred up the people and the elders and the scribes, and they came upon him and seized him and brought him before the council, [13] and they set up false witnesses who said, “This man never ceases to speak words against this holy place and the law, [14] for we have heard him say that this Jesus of Nazareth will destroy this place and will change the customs that Moses delivered to us. ” [15]

Exodus 3: 12 [12] He said, “But I will be with you, and this shall be the sign for you, that I have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain. ” (ESV)

[14] And to him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed. But I tell you, from now on you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power and coming on the clouds of heaven. ” [65] Then the high priest tore his robes and said, “He has uttered blasphemy. Escape to Zion, you who dwell with the daughter of Babylon. Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent me. [10] Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion, for behold, I come and I will dwell in your midst, declares the LORD. [11] And many nations shall join themselves to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people. And I will dwell in your midst, and you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you. [12] And the LORD will inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land, and will again choose Jerusalem. ” (ESV)

Isaiah 27: 13 [13] And in that day a great trumpet will be blown, and those who were lost in the land of Assyria and those who were driven out to the land of Egypt will come and worship the LORD on the holy mountain at Jerusalem. (ESV)

Matthew 16: 28 [28] Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom. ” (ESV) Matthew 10: 23 [23] When they persecute you in one town, flee to the next, for truly, I say to you, you will not have gone through all the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.
