New Religious Movements Memo Like any organisation, New Religious Movements develop and change over time and we’d like you to investigate and examine the possible reasons for such changes. Our Crime Scene Investigation Officers have uncovered a number of potential clues that should help with your investigation by pointing you in the direction of potential sources of change. We’d like you to examine what they’ve discovered and discuss their findings with your fellow detectives. If you need some background into New religious Movements and the possible reasons for organisational changes over time, we’ve enlisted the help of Professor Eileen Barker to provide some context information for your investigation

Authority structures become more bureaucratic and predictable as an NRM evolves.
