Outreach #3 – Youth Science Summit • Kentucky Science Center event to be held on Lexmark’s campus, Saturday June 27 • Tentatively will have 2 girls tracks – middle and high school • SWE is asked to provide an hour-long session for each of these tracks • Volunteers Needed • Plan the activities • Facilitate the day of the event • Plan to apply for grant – must submit by May 1

A catalog of available scholarships for engineering school offered by SWE and partner organizations. Best practices on applying for scholarships and internships. Eligible to participate in a quarterly webinars, where engineers from various disciplines discuss the work that they do. Resources for families and educators that can help effectively promote a career in engineering to your daughter and/or female engineering students. A SWENext council where girls can influence the direction of this program. . . and much more.

Voting to take place in April Advantages: colors are easy to reproduce and show power, logo is progressive, logo is more adaptive to sections, logo can be made very small and still be understood, logo can be made all white or all black.

SWE Scholarships have garnered national attention due to our breadth and commitment to advancing women engineers through financial support of their education.
