Instructor Bio and Voice of the Candidates O. Nathan Ronen, CFA – Lead CFA Program Instructor As a co-Founder and principal of Chalk & Board, Nathan assumes the role of Head of Education. Nathan began his career in world-class organizations such as New York Life, FINRA (formerly, NASD) and Salomon Brothers where he was groomed and gained real-world experience in finance and accounting. He soon realized his passion was in education and began teaching finance and other investment-related subjects at Johns Hopkins University’s MBA program and Strayer College. After achieving his CFA designation, he established himself as the lead CFA instructor at CFA Society New York where he has helped thousands of candidates to date prepare for the CFA Program exams i. e. Level I, II, and III. Nathan brings over 20 years of teaching experience conducting review courses for the CFA examination (CFANY, Kaplan-Schweser, Washington Society of Security Analysts and the Study Seminar for Financial Analysts (SSFA)) and a unique teaching style that charismatically brings theory to life for his students. He has also taught in-house CFA Program seminars at leading financial institutions including Goldman Sachs and Citigroup. Nathan holds an MBA from the prestigious University of Chicago (top 5 MBA programs in the US) in finance and accounting.
