The Skeleton System Bones protect our vital organs. Inside the bone is jellylike bone marrow. As you grow older some of your bones grow together.

The Muscular System There 630 active muscles in your body. Muscles are bundles of cells and fibers. Muscles tighten up, and then they relax. .

Muscles • About 630 muscles • Relax and contract to move bones • Your muscles are over your body • You have three different bones in your body

Skeletal System • 360 bones in body when born • 206 bones in body when you are about 10 or 20 • It gives us shape • Protects our organs such as brain, heart, and lungs
