THE SCIENTIFIC METHODS BY: EUGENIA
STATE THE PROBLEM Ask a testable question that can be tested. To state the problem use questions which begins ‘how’, ‘what’ if’, ‘does’ and ‘’I wonder’.
GATHER INFORMATION Gather information is about your experiment. Observations and experiments are ways to collect information. Some data could be gathered from fieldwork that had been done already outside of the laboratory.
FORM A HYPOTHESIS A hypothesis is a prediction that can be tested. Forming a hypothesis is a important part of scientific method.
PERFORM A EXPERIMENT Performing an experiment, the hypothesis is tested using controlled conditions. To test the hypothesis it is necessary to perform an experiment, that how the scientific method is.
ANALYZE DATA The data of the experiment has to be recorded in a notebook or make a data. This way makes the scientific method process easy to understand organized.
DRAW CONCLUSIONS Draw conclusions is a logical answer to a question based on data and observation. This part of scientific method is the next step to accept or reject the hypothesis.
HYPOTHESIS IS SUPPORTED OR NOT SUPPORTED If the hypothesis is supported, repeat again the experiment to be sure if the hypothesis is correct. But if the hypothesis is not supported check the hypothesis or the question if it is necessary to change some words.
THANK YOU!
