TRF’S Future Vision Plan • Approaching 100 th anniversary of TRF, trustees sought to develop a plan to make TRF more relevant - Only slight modification to programs sinception. • Trustees sought input from a wide variety of stakeholders. • Plan updates mission and creates more effective ways to help Rotarians develop diverse projects with greater impact and sustainable outcomes.

TRF Future Vision Plan Designed To: • Simplify TRF programs and processes consistent with the mission. • Focus service efforts where they will have greatest impact by addressing priority world needs that are relevant to Rotarians. • Offer program options to help achieve both global and local needs. • Increase sense of ownership by transferring more decisions to district. • Gain greater understanding of TRF’s work and enhance Rotary’s public image.

TRF Future Vision Implementation • 3 -year pilot program – 100 representative districts worldwide selected to participate – District 7610 is not one – 3 districts in Zone 33 were (7620, 7630, 7690) • Full implementation 2013 -14

Future Vision Immediate Effect on 7610 Operating rules unchanged except: • Limits districts with which we can work (Pilot Districts - Global Grants) • Grants: Volunteer Service and 3 -H grants not available. • Educational Programs - eliminated: – Multi-year Ambassadorial scholarships – Cultural scholarships – Grants for University Teachers • GSE every other year (funding)
