GRANTS AWARDED Prerequisites for a Club to request a District Grant • Must have some member, preferably the President, President-Elect or Foundation Chair, complete annual Grant Management Seminar (offered at PETS and usually in the spring at another district training); • Submit a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by the President and President-Elect; • Have submitted final reports for existing district grants before the deadline (March 31 st currently); • Apply by the grant deadline of May 31 st (currently); Guidelines • • • Total project cost showing club and member contributions compared to the amount the grant application requests from the district; 10 Points Club per capita giving to the Rotary Foundation Annual Fund, (with consideration of other Foundation giving); 10 points Percentage of Club members involved in the grant project; 5 points Participation in District training (Summer Seminar, Convention, etc. ), possibly scored in coming year(s) Others, including Support of Rotary’s Areas of Focus, PR, partnership with other clubs or non profits, community needs, project impact, etc. TITLE | 3
