Create job opportunities in agriculture. • Contribution to Gross Nation Profit (GNP) or Gross Domestic Product (GDP) – the total value of goods produced and services provided by a country during one year.

Creating market for produce planted • Trade Liberalisation – is the removal or reduction of restrictions or barriers on the free exchange of goods between nations. These barriers include tarrifs such as duties and surcharges and nontariffs barriers such as licensing rules and quotas. Eradication of these restrictions promote free trade.
