Ro-103 Grades Grade Appeal Review and Decision Process 1. Student Initiates the Grade Appeal

Ro-103 Grades Grade Appeal Review and Decision Process 1. Student Initiates the Grade Appeal process and submits all paperwork to the Department Chair of the department in which the course is taught. 2. Department Chair consults with the student and with the faculty member involved. 3. The Chair examines the available evidence and renders a decision: either grant the appeal and change the grade, or deny the appeal. 4. The Chair notifies the student of his/her decision. 5. If the appeal is granted, the Chair submits the grade change in writing to the Registrar’s Office for processing. 6. If the appeal is denied, the student can accept the decision or appeal to the Dean.
