Who and what • Covers approximately: – 30, 000 employees – 48 entities (see

Wages • Wage determination mechanism – provides the ability to increase wages further. •

Wages • Wage determination mechanism – provides the ability to increase wages further. • Wages – 2. 5% per annum on the last agreement rates as contained in the State Government Entities Certified Agreement 2015 (i. e. the 2017 agreement rates), or – the award rate whichever is greater.

One-off payment clause 2. 2 • If you haven’t already, you’ll soon see your oneoff payment in your bank account, if you are eligible – It will be paid before the proposed agreement is certified. • Eligible employees are those who are to be covered by the proposed Agreement and who were employed on or after 17 January 2020 and remained employed on the date of processing of the payment.

Where to after the ballot? • Application to certify – If a valid majority of employees vote in favour of the proposed agreement, an application will be made to the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission for certification of the State Government Entities Certified Agreement 2019. – It is anticipated that the agreement will be certified by mid 2020. – Agreement will operate once certified.
