Ø Permanently forbidden is due to: 1. Kinship. 2. Breastfeeding. 3. Marriage relations.
Ø Temporarily forbidden is due to: 1. A temporary reason (could be an (in law realtionship) or other as it’ll be discussed.

Condition: 1. Milk reaches the stomach. Permanently forbidden due to breastfeedin g 2. Suckling occurs before two years of age. Relation by breastfeeding is relation like kinship. This will only apply to the suckling and their offspring. Wisdom: 1. Enlarging the family circle 2. Honouring the breastfeeding mother 3. Satisfying the needs of a child.
Wife of the father, grandfather… Permanently forbidden due to Marriage Wife of the son, grandson… Wife’s mother, grandmother Forbidden due to consummation of marriage with a girl’s mother
Type two: Temporarily forbidden Women forbidden to bring them together in a wedlock: The wife’s sister. The wife’s paternal aunt, maternal aunt. Bringing more than four wives in a marriage.
Type two: Temporarily forbidden Due to a temporary cause: 1. Married women. 2. A woman observing Idda 3. A woman he divorced three times. 4. A woman in Ihram for Hajj. 5. A polytheist (mushrikah).
