THE PARABLE OF THE DIVIDED KINGDOM 22 And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, “He has Beelzebub, ” and, “By the ruler of the demons He casts out demons. ” • 23 So He called them to Himself and spoke to them in parables, “How can Satan drive out Satan? • • 24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. • 25 And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. 26 And if Satan has risen up against himself and is divided, he cannot stand, but is coming to an end. • 27 But no one can go into a strong man’s house and steal his property unless he first overpowers and ties up the strong man, and then he will ransack and rob his house. •

WHAT HAVE WE LEARNT TODAY? • Read Mark 3: 21 -30 to understand why Yahshua told this parable. • This parable of the Divided Kingdom teaches that we cannot follow the evil ways of the world and the teachings of Yahshua Ha. Mashiach at the same time. Darkness cannot remove darkness. Only light can remove darkness. • In a world where there is good and evil, we must pick a side and stick to that side. We cannot serve the devil and serve Yahshua. We must commit ourselves to the Word of Yahuah and follow the example of Yahshua. • A kingdom or person that is divided and doing both good and evil becomes too weak to stand when bad things come their way, they are easily destroyed. • If we fight among our family members then we weaken our family and if we fight among our friends, then we weaken our friendship. • You cannot focus on Yahuah every Sabbath day and try to be good and then from Sunday to Friday do bad things and make Him unhappy.
