Procedure 1. Measure the focal length of the lenses from the film 2. Cut

Procedure 1. Measure the focal length of the lenses from the film 2. Cut the cardboard box so it would match the measurement of focal length 3. Trim the box and cover any holes with masking tape so light wouldn’t come in 4. Cut the can open, from the middle part of the can. Cut another tiny piece 5. Make a tiny hole in the tiny piece of the can by using push pin or some other sharp device 6. Attach the tiny piece to the lid of the shoebox 7. Cover it with a piece of cardboard that can be closed or open regarding the situation. If it wants to take a picture, open it if not than close it 8. Paint the cardboard box with black paint 9. Wait for it to dry

Discussion • As we know the focus of an object when taking a picture

Discussion • As we know the focus of an object when taking a picture is relavtive to the distance of the object it self and the shadow it’s casting on the lens. It was showed in the distance that we needed to be away from the object to take a clear and focus shot of an object. • Before we started making the camera we calculated the distance needed from the pinhole to the film paper which was 6 cm and then we calculated the minimal and maximal distance of the magnefication with the distance from the camera to the object(let’s say If the magnefication is 1. 5 X the distance needed to be 30 cm to get a focused shot). • Why does this hapend? Well, we thought it had to be the type of lens we used in this experiment we used both convex and concae lens why is this a factor because the properties of the lenses let’s say an item is in room 3 the object’s shadow will be reverse while also being enhanced in size.

Conclusion • In conclusion the camera we created can take great photos and can have a bit of magnefication but it can’t compare to the DSLR Camera which can be millions of rupiah. But we did succed in making a DIY camera that can work really well and also has a good amount of magnefication that can be controlled manually up to around 2 X the magnefication which diferinciates it from other DIY camera.
