Easy as One, Two three • Preparing The Square Base • Folding the Bird Base • Completing the Bird

The Origami Square Base • Take one sheet of paper and form square piece shape. • First fold each of the corners together and then unfold it. • After that fold the paper “Hotdog” and “Hamburger” style • Fold the corners inside until a small square is formed

The Bird Base • Fold the flaps on one side of the square inwards to the center line, and repeat. • Fold top triangle down and unfold, do this on the other side. • Grab bottom flap and pull up, press down to make a fold

Beginning the folding • Fold the flaps to the side so that a triangle is showing • Fold the bottom flap up so the paper looks like a triangle • Pull out the inside flaps so they are poking out of the sides

Finishing the Folding • Fold the tip of one the sides and fold it down, this is the head. • Grab the base of the neck and fold the wings forwards around your finger.

Done! • Pull the tail and flap your birds wings

History • 105 A. D paper was invented • Back then paper was expensive • Some places paper used to be strictly a ceremonial thing • Modern times origami can be fold anywhere and done by anyone.
