The Existence of Order • All things on Earth are part of a larger pattern or order. • No organism, not even those that seem most isolated, live completely alone. – Even the “Yorima”, a blind, transparent spider that lives deep in the caves of Alabama, is part of a larger community of organisms. In fact, it is at the top of a food chain which consists of translucent millipedes and glow in the dark algae.
