Tier 2 Process Teacher refers student to Tier 2 Teacher collects work samples Teacher records anecdotal data on students Teacher contacts Tier 2 Facilitator who schedules teacher conference Tier 2 Team selects 1 -3 interventions to address areas of concern
Tier 2 Facilitator schedules Tier 2 meeting and notifies committee members Tier 2 to Tier 3 Teacher brings the SIP (including sections 1 -3 of the RTI documentation) Return to Tier 1 Return to Tier 2 Agenda Tier 2 team defines the problem and develops the plan to be implemented for 6 weeks; schedule next meeting Evaluate and adjust after six weeks of implemented strategies Electronic version of RTI document should be sent to Tier 3 Facilitator sends out Parent Notification of Initial Tier 3 meeting, Parent Questionnaire, and Initial Tier 3 meeting notification to teacher. Refer to Tier 3 Tier 2 team completes Section 4 of RTI document and Strengths and Weaknesses Checklist
