Financial Facts • Private philanthropic support for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences has grown from $21. 573 million in FY 10 to $84 million in Fiscal year 2017 • At December 31, 2017, the NCAF had total investable assets of $133. 1 million. • At December 31, 2017, the NCTF had total investable assets of $9. 9 million. • NCAF has an operating (general fund) budget of $2, 482, 246 • NCTF has an operating (general fund) budget of $173, 025 • The Foundations are led by a dedicated and passionate staff of professionals committed to supporting the mission of the College.

Asset Management Endowment contributions are managed by the UNC Management Company, which manages endowments

Asset Management Endowment contributions are managed by the UNC Management Company, which manages endowments for the public universities in NC. Endowments are invested with the NC State Investment Fund, Inc. , which realized a net investment return of 6. 8% for the fiscal year-to-date as compared to the benchmark of 6. 5%. The one-year performance, also as of December 31, was 13. 2% as compared to the benchmark of 13. 3%. Results of the 2017 NACUBO (National Association of College and University Business Officers) - Commonfund Endowment Survey - NC State University and associated entities (including the Ag and Tobacco Foundations) ranked 94 out of 809 respondents with a combined endowment market value of $1. 12 billion at June 30, 2017. NC State reported a combined return to NACUBO of 12. 1%.
