• 250 ‘points’ over 5 years • 1 point approximates to 1 hour of education • Doctors should undertake a variety of CPD in line with their personal need, discuss at appraisal • Documentation of CPD kept for appraisal • CPD ‘examined’ at appraisal (not by RCR) • 5 yearly certificate issued by RCR!
