SAILOR 6280/6281 AIS System The future is here - Multifunction Touch Display When the necessary approvals are in house: • More “Black Box” units can be operated through one SAILOR 6004 Control Unit. • In the very near future e. g. SAILOR 6280 AIS System, SAILOR 6281 AIS Basic System and the new SAILOR 6390 Navtex can be operated on one SAILOR 6004 Control Panel – Simply by activating the individual App. • All installations of the SAILOR 6280/6281 AIS System will be able to be upgraded with any new feature Slide 10 Cobham plc
SAILOR 6280/6281 AIS System Connection to NON-SAILOR equipment • Using the LWE (IEC 61162 -450) as the connection towards the Control panel gives the opportunity to operate the SAILOR 6280/6281 AIS System from NON-SAILOR equipment • This is of course a matter of related approvals, but displaying the AIS information from the SAILOR 6280 AIS System on e. g. different ECDIS will be an option • The SAILOR 6280/6281 AIS System is truly future proof Slide 11 Cobham plc
