TITANIC Date: April 14 th 1912 Players: White Star Line Ship Company Event: The Titanic was supposed to be an unsinkable ship, but it sunk after hitting an iceberg killing more than 1500 people. Significance: It brought about many new safety precautions.

END OF WORLD WAR 1 Date: June 28 th 1919 Players: Germany, France, Great Britain, and the United States Event: The Treat of Versailles officially ended world war 1. Significance: It made the world a smaller place by limiting the amount of power a certain country can have. Before World War One everyone was more focused on fighting and killing to take land over. After WWI all the countries went back home.

PEARL HARBOR Date: December 7 th 1941 Players: Japan and the United States. Event: Japanese Military bombs Pearl Harbor bringing the United States into World War 2. Significance: The overall outcome was pretty good, even though many lives were lost many countries ended the war happy.

TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCES Advancement: Medicine Date: through out the 1900 s Significance: Back in the days medicine was just more or less home remedies that did not really work and many people died. Now Medical technology is so advanced that we can keep someone alive for years with drugs and machines.

MODERN IMPORTANCE With out all the advances in technology, literature and the arts the world would not be where it is today. We wouldn’t have the advanced cell phones we have now or the advanced computers, music devices any of it. The world would definitely not be the same today without all the advances that took place over the many years.
