An area of success: Partnerships and funding § Overall performance of 28 participating countries: § Strong points —Mobility cross-European partnerships and networks between IVET institutions & companies are supported – 24 countries —Mobility trips of learners are funded – 27 countries —Organisers receive support – 26 countries —Part of actions at least are at least monitored – 27 countries § Next steps for further progress —Moving from monitoring to evaluation (full in DE & SE only) —Assist catch-up efforts in the few countries lagging behind 22 The MSB for IVET - Opening Platform, Thessaloniki, 3 rd June 2016
An area with room for progress: Recognition § Overall performance of 28 participating countries: § Points for improvement —Scope of recognition is often too narrow: • 16 countries do not recognise more than 3 types of learning components / outcomes (only 8 recognise 6 types) —Time frame for processing recognition or recognition requests is lacking or long (12 weeks+) in 19 countries • Automatic recognition (DE, NO); 6 weeks in NL, PT —Actions to let learners know about where to get information on recognition are lacking in 18 countries • EE: visit events & institutions, contact counsellors 23 The MSB for IVET - Opening Platform, Thessaloniki, 3 rd June 2016
A few comments § Success in Partnerships and funding might be linked to EU programmes (Leonardo, Erasmus+) In many countries: — The EU programme is the single mobility scheme — Support to partnerships and organisers, and funding of learners’ mobility, are ensured within the National Agency § Not all priority reforms require more funding e. g. in Recognition: extending the scope; time framing the process; and making visible the contact points for information 24 The MSB for IVET - Opening Platform, Thessaloniki, 3 rd June 2016
