Problem At the moment there is 150 million metric tons of plastic pollution floating in our oceans and the number is increasing every year. Therefore we have generated a solution on how to decrease plastic pollution. We have to come up with the idea to create a recycling system that does not only help us minimize plastic waste but is also having positive impacts on third world countries.

Johan is middle aged guy from Germany. He is married and has two kids. He is a worker in car industry with 3. 000€ monthly salary. His wife is also working in the company with similar income. Johan is going to store and is buying a plastic bottle of cola and pays 1 € for it + 0, 15 € recycle fee.

After he returns this bottle for recycling, he gets 0, 10€ for it. So where did the rest of money go? He chose to donate the money - Those 0, 05€ went to worker in Indonesia who is collecting empty bottles and hands them over to the local recycling company owned by Eco. Baltia.

Because of these 0, 15€ that German guy Johan didn´t even notice the worker in Indonesia has a job and he is happy. Also we are cleaning the planet from plastic.

On finished product there is going to be our logo, so the consumer is aware that this plastic is recycled and has made an impact for the enviroment Johan is recycling his plastic bottles and giving money to our charity Pellets are sold to company which is producing finished products Johny in Indonesia is receiving salary from donations by collecting plastic bottles for the Eco. Baltia daughter’s company Collected bottles get recycled into plastic pellets

Marketing To begin with, we would divide the idea of Marketing into 4 steps as follows: • 1. Since this is a project that is primarily related to supermarkets, we would try to agree with supermarkets to actively advertise the idea, for example: • Cash registers, when customers are waiting in line • Posters inside the supermarket • 2. POP-OUT Internet Commercial • 3. Stickers (with message „Real Butterfly“) – sticked on some places in the city • 4. Social Media (Facebook, Instagram)
