Those who trust in the LORD (1 -2) Trusting in the LORD – A common theme throughout the psalms It is about our faith Proverbs 3: 5 -6

Those who trust in the LORD (1 -2) Trusting in the LORD – Genuine trust involves: 1) Seek to Know Him – Philippians 3: 10 2) Speak with Him (prayer and study) - James 1: 6 3) Be loyal to Him – Hebrews 10: 35

Those who trust in the LORD (1 -2) Are like Mount Zion – the place where the people of God meet with Him (physical and spiritual) They cannot be moved 1 Corinthians 15: 58, James 5: 11 – persevere, endure; Hebrews 10: 34 -36 - endurance We ascend to Him! Cf. Isaiah 55: 8 -9

Those who trust in the LORD (1 -2) Are surrounded by the LORD Protection, refuge Psalm 32: 10, 46: 1 Proverbs 14: 26

Those who trust in the LORD (1 -2) From this time forth and forever His eternity and power Cf. Psalm 119: 89 Our trust is based upon this hope – Isaiah 55: 11 John 10: 27 -29 – those who belong to Him NOTE: This does not mean we cannot leave or abandon Him

Do Good O LORD (4 -5) Do good to those who are good All that God does for us is good! Does His goodness move you? Romans 2: 4, cf. Rom. 11: 22 2 Thessalonians 1: 11 We must be good and upright of heart Cf. Matt. 5: 8, etc.
