Comparing Pictures Useful Language
Useful Language: For each picture, decide which of the words and expressions from the Vocabulary section on page 121 you could use when talking about it. He´s irate!

Apply the formula… • Both of these pictures show people expressing anger. • The first picture shows an irate man, as well as in the second picture. • However, in the first picture the man is a customer whereas in the second picture the man is a police officer. • It seems that what likely happened in the first picture is that the customer was given the wrong room, or perhaps his room was dirty. Regarding the second picture the police officer probably became angry when the driver broke the law. • As for what happens next, my best guess would be that the man is given another room and the driver is given a warning or a ticket.
